Work performed for Vinous encompassed the development and ongoing maintenance of their primary website and a newly initiated admin site, leveraging a modern tech stack including NextJS, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and NodeJS. A key initiative involved replacing the existing Stripe API integration across multiple pages with a Stripe self-hosted solution, covering both the checkout experience and the customer portal. Additional efforts included migrating legacy pages from the Ruby-based website to the new NextJS platform, developing and implementing new features, and resolving client-reported issues to ensure optimal performance and stability. On the admin side, foundational development was completed through the implementation of Vinous article update functionality. Throughout the engagement, the team maintained consistent client communication via weekly meetings, ensuring requirements were clearly understood and delivered upon.
