​For nearly a decade, the First Factory team was a key technology partner for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. What started as an engagement to build a proof of concept internal application—to support multinational operations moving from fixed brick-and-mortar centers to a majority remote workforce managing disparate locations—grew to a large team that built and maintained all internal applications and provided augmentation for the marketing site and online student assets. Prior to adopting global SaaS projects to support the consolidation of more Kaplan companies, our team designed and built internal applications​ that facilitated centralized and remote teams ​in creating and managing class offerings,​ schedule changes and cancellations, hiring and training faculty, and managing vendor and classroom operations.
