We created a private-labeled banking-as-a-service platform aimed at connecting businesses with minority-owned banks. This scalable system empowers wealth managers to offer high-touch service, providing clients with seamless visibility into their investments. The platform supports CRM systems, integrates with various financial institutions and payment providers like Plaid, and offers self-service functionality for clients. Built with a user-centric design philosophy, the robust development leveraged AWS services like Cognito, ECS, RDS, and MySQL, alongside Apollo GraphQL, NodeJS, PrismaJS, and React. The MVP focused on complete functionality, including white-label features and third-party banking detail integration, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, and rigorous QA and UAT. The platform aims to drive social equity by supporting minority-owned banks and enabling informed investment decisions while ensuring security with FDIC insurance.
