Services provided to FrankCrum involved enhancing and supporting multiple HR and payroll applications, including the NextGen Pay Central system, and projects related to New Hire Wizard and Payroll Alpha. Technologies leveraged included .NET Core, C#, React, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps. Key efforts included designing and developing API projects for IAM, HRIS Core, Payroll, and New Hire Wizard, and leading a seamless integration with the Worklio API for payroll processing. Work also involved creating common library logic for UI/API sharing, implementing microservice architecture for APIs and UIs, and performing QA activities such as creating test plans, executing various testing types (regression, delta, smoke), and validating front end/backend functionality using databases. Additionally, support was provided for two agile teams by managing backlogs, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, identifying risks, and guiding the team to higher Scrum maturity.
