Juan “JD” Sanchez
Director of Engineering
JD is a mission-driven professional with over a decade of experience developing, managing and growing teams and applications. He has mentored dozens of software engineers in their career development paths with solid leadership and communication skills. He has excelled at creating a customized approach to exceeding each client’s expectations of quality work performed. His specializations are in Javascript and .NET, combining those with experience in many services in AWS, particularly in the DevOps area.
JD has a positive attitude, a stellar work ethic and he is always available and eager to provide feedback to others and share his insights. In his free time, JD likes to watch movies and tv shows, travel and play with his dogs.
Carlos Mora
Engineering Manager
With over a decade of experience working on the .Net stack, focused mainly on delivering solutions to clients’ needs, Carlos is a dedicated software engineering professional. He has collaborated on many different projects ranging from desktop applications to web pages, being part of gathering requirements, turning them into user stories and then into technical requirements and then delivering a final product. Aside from working with the .Net stack, he also has experience with emerging technologies, getting involved in IoT projects, using Arduino, RaspberryPi and Amazon Alexa, to name a few.
Carlos has helped create POCs for clients to develop internal systems and fun side features for them to showcase to their end-users. In 2018, he was honored to be a mentor and judge for the HackMIT event in Boston, MA, providing guidance and feedback to the students that took part in the event.
Gabriel Ulloa
Engineering Manager
With twelve years of experience as a developer, including four years, managing full-stack teams, Gabriel has a special interest in the human aspect of software development. He finds satisfaction in helping his engineers achieve their highest potential in fast-paced multicultural environments. Gabriel believes in a soup-to-nuts approach to delivering quality products that align with and exceed client expectations, emphasizing involvement in the software development process.
Gabriel prioritizes communication and empathy in his management style. Discovering what drives each individual, he bonds with them personally, providing a solid basis for effective knowledge transfer. He has a hands-on leadership style, providing frequent coaching and individual feedback sessions to cultivate the technical and soft skills needed for his engineers to thrive on high-performance teams. Imparting knowledge that cannot be provided by formal education alone, Gabriel hopes his real-life experience will inspire his engineers to maximize their success and professional growth. Outside of work, Gabriel is an avid soccer player and enjoys cooking for his loved ones.
