We are so proud to have once again been recognized in the 2023 Inc 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America by Inc Magazine. It is a designation that is certainly hard to believe. Our business aim was never about achieving recognition, but rather a software engineer building a workplace where fellow software contributors could learn, code and be valued.
We at First Factory place the heaviest emphasis on having a passion for learning and being great team citizens. Technology is changing rapidly, the business dynamics are shifting and global events will quickly shape outcomes and define new opportunities. Every member of our team, from software engineers to designers, to recruiters and to executives must focus on refining and acquiring new skills, to swiftly and confidently navigate the changing climate and evolving client needs. What we learn we share. There is no ego in learning or teaching here. We all advance when we mentor each other and are open to learning from all contributors. As a team, we support each other when there is struggle, we guide each other to ensure greater efficiency, and we push each other to accomplish more than we thought possible alone. Global events have given us acute insights into how to better serve our employees with more holistic wellness benefits and improved professional development tools.
These last few years have allowed us to help companies scale with Machine Learning and AI, to aid people with impairments in communicating via video conferencing and telecommunication platforms, to provide government agencies tools to resolve missing child cases and seek justice against traffickers, to bring disparate global commerce systems together into a single cohesive platform, and so much more. Our clients are starting new businesses and expanding services leveraging backend technologies including NestJS, .NET, Java, Python and Ruby on Rails. Frontend development continues to take advantage of React, Angular and other JavaScript frameworks. And, of course, serverless cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Run are being deployed to scale quickly.
Collectively, everyone on our team understands the value and importance of sustainable growth. We grow to diversify, to create career path opportunities for our team members, to work with emerging technologies that expand our sphere of knowledge and influence, and to be in a position to help others that are making a difference in communities and beyond.
Growth is also about resilience. Controlled growth, that is taking on new clients only to the point in which we can continue to deliver the high standards of quality and service we hold ourselves accountable to, protects our team, and our company from market sector turbulence. Should one sector encounter financial disruption, and as a result, those clients of ours ramp down the augmented staff we have assigned, we can more easily shift development resources onto other clients in different sectors, such as e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, real estate, internal products and more. Diversification of clients, in addition to bringing many different technologies into focus, helps us attract and retain highly skilled employees with unique experiences.
