What happens outside the office is just as important as what happens inside, which is why First Factory encourages the use of flex-time, work-from-home, and other family-friendly policies. We regularly get together outside of the office for fun activities, including bowling, rock climbing, and the annual Factory Fest outing in November.

Come see what makes First Factory unique among software development companies, or refer a friend and earn $2,000 USD. Here’s how it works:
For all non-employees of First Factory whose referral candidate is hired into a full-time position, the referrer will receive a referral payout of $2,000 (or another designated amount for specially advertised positions) after the candidate is hired by First Factory and successfully completes a three-month probationary period.

- To be an eligible candidate, the individual cannot be a current employee of First Factory
- To be an eligible candidate, the individual must be hired into a full time position which has been posted on a First Factory website or social media page, a third party job board (i.e. LinkedIn or Acciontrabajo Costa Rica), or advertised in a local publication
- Referral incentives are based solely on new applicants; incentives will not be paid to applicants already in our applicant-tracking database
- Only one referral per hire will be paid out to the first person who refers the candidate via the submission criteria*
*Time and date stamp on email submission will determine first referrer
